My abomination is done, thanks largely to the efforts of our local greenstuff guru, The critter is on my shelf.

the base:

user posted image

the huge beastie is on a chariot base, with ripping claws, spkies at odd angles, a chunk of warpstone in his side, a mechanical doohicky in his neck, a rat ogre head/arm growing out of his side, as well as a giant rat head, and some unfortunate soul who was melded into to monstrosity. greenstuffed to cover dem bones, he has patches of fur and stiches around him, i may add a bit or to, but 95% of him is done.

pics when i get time/ him painted.

Big Ups to Cody Johnson for doing the heavy lifting on this one, i suck w/ greenstuff. thanks, bro.

I've also used this beastie as one of my abominations. Although I've used him as is as the model reminds of the rat beast from Grey Seer biggrin.gif

Technostorm is one of a very few skaven to be born with incredibly pale fur, but not be uber-epic. Like a lab rat

It's a Necromunda model. Specifically, the mount from The Caller box. Here you go.

fills up a chariot base nicely, but he's down low, not up high.

Its a nice model and all, but it looks a bit small and winky.

Not exactly the 50ft tower of pulsing flesh that they're described as being.....

You kids these days have it so easy, what with your Plague Furnaces and your Hellpit Abominations and your Bonebreaker Warlords. Back in MY day, all we had was Slaves and Clanrats!...and auto-hit Ratling Guns...and skirmishing Jezzails...and 2D6 Warp Lightning...and Lead From The Back...wait, what was my arguement again?

Used a "couple" of extra bits laying around. Will go real well with a Skryre theme...

It also doesn't go with the look in the new book but oh well...

These are some nice beasties, I've been looking for a good base for my HPA and this is one to consider.

Also, looking foward to your painted fig. Foegnasher

I can remember reading about Throt's background in either a WD or the Skaven book & the way he experiments is kind of the way I feel compelled to convert...

Just slap random pieces together & wing it. There have been some doosies in my army & I can't wait to get my hands on the new bell & Doomwheel...

Oh the carnage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lixit, that's an incredible beastie! Would you mind if I stole some of the ideas you used on there for my skaven steam tank?

Here is mine. It's still WIP. Still have to decorate the base etc. I'm working on making his guts spill out from it's body, and drag living and dead creatures into its own body so the uncontrolled mutations caused by it's warpstone core, and mold it into itæs own body, making the creature grow bigger and more vile. (I just added a zombie in front of him that's entangled in guts, and dragged towards him, but it's not very visible in the picture)

And wow, Lixit's beast looks really mean. Some nice Moulder and Skyre cooperation there. And really looking forward to see Foegnasher's Abomination.
