Ok, so i have a quick question about Ikit Claw in the new book since i haven't heard much about his rules in the new book. Will he be having any clan specific special rules? and if anyone knows them what are his rules in general? I haven't seen the new book yet unfortunately. sad.gif

Here's what i found on warseer about Ikit: but again are there any clan specific rules? sorry for asking twice.

Ikit Claw (Clan Skryre Lord)
- classic model available through the GW website
- has the Storm Daemon, which casts and Artillery Dice hits version of Warp Lightning

Mutate:
I'll just take the no replies as there not being any or we don't know yet. Thanks though. happy.gif

Ikit Claw is a LvL 3 wizard. He has magical armour that gives him a X+ armour save and X+ ward and once a game he can shoot a warpfire thrower shot. The storm daemon is a halberd that can use a bound spell ( power Lvl X) that can shoot an arty dices worth of shots at an enemy unit within 24". If u role a misfire, role a D6, and various stuff happens.

Too many details, that I had to remove. In order not to violate GW-copyrights. ~Morgoth

oh sweet that's awesome biggrin.gif. Thank you for the reply. I'm just trying to see what changes i might need to do with my army, but it seems i wont have to do much. though from the looks of it he's doesn't make anything a core choice but that's all good, his rules seem awesome enough tongue.gif .

He's not half bad, though he's only a level 3 for a lord choice and only takes spells from skaven Ruin... A far cry from the old days when he could pick *any* armies magic to choose from tongue.gif

All in all he's a solid character though, capable of firing a lot of S5 hits out in a single turn, hits in combat at S6 and is about as survivable as a Skaven character gets.

True!

He's a cyborg rat with a flame thrower hand and lightning shooting halberd that's at least twice his own height. That should be more than enough reason for anyone to give him a try tongue.gif

Ikit is brilliant in this edition & has no less than 4 ways to blow himself up with his various misfires & miscasts etc! blink.gif

Despite his low number of attacks (once a caster, always a caster), I think I'll be using Ikit Claw an awful lot in this edition. While being a tad more expensive then a fully equipped Grey Seer, his equipment and better durability makes him (to me) a fair contender for the 'lord choice as general' position.

Without giving away information we'd have to kill you for, Ikit uses one of the Skaven's two (sorta) new spell list. His repertoire being a combination of good old high strength magical damage and support magic to boost your troops (as opposed to weakening the other guy's). He also has some equipment that lets him bring mass mayhem in typical skryre fashion. He's also rather beefy for a wizard, but don't fool yourself into thinking he's any sort of combat monster. More importantly, he doesn't have any rules that directly effect your army build, meaning he doesn't make certain units core or anything like that.
